INVESTMENT POLICY STATEMENTS
Based on information gathered in interviews, analysis, and conclusions from an asset allocation study, we will write a comprehensive investment policy statement for your organization that comprises all the accounts under our management.
ASSET ALLOCATION
To provide the best risk-return adjusted portfolio, using modern portfolio management methods, we plot your portfolio on the efficient frontier and develop an asset allocation strategy for your individual accounts and overall investments.
RISK RETURN ANALYSIS
A thorough analysis of your current balance sheet and overall operations is done. We discuss with you the risk, return, and cash flow needs that you have for each account. Information and analysis from this stage goes into the asset allocation study.
PORTFOLIO APPRAISAL
This is a complete listing of all of the securities in each individual account.
PERFORMANCE SUMMARY
IAG will provide a performance summary sheet for each account. We can also provide a consolidated performance summary that aggregates all your accounts. This summary sheet will also include individual index benchmarks, performance information, and if applicable, a blended benchmark for multi-strategy accounts.
BENCHMARKING
Each account will have a benchmark for its related investment style, whether its for stocks, bonds, hedge funds, cash, or alternative investments. If an account has multiple strategies, we develop a blended benchmark that it can be measured against.
MANAGER SEARCH
Investment manager searches can be performed to select a manager for the style that you desire.
CUSTODIAN ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIP
This involves working closely with your custodian/trustee or assisting in finding a new one. We will oversee assets that are transferred to insure correct settlement and reporting.
REBALANCING
If IAG manages the assets, we will rebalance the accounts according to the investment policy statement. This rebalancing may be necessary because of market changes, expected investment conditions, or cash flow needs.
CASH FLOW ANALYSIS
We manage cash flow in/out of any account, so that we can properly position the portfolio for the best performance.
PERFORMANCE REPORTING
Similiar to the performance summary, this encompasses all accounts that we are managing and/or monitoring if there are other investment managers.
MANAGER MONITORING
We will monitor any and all asset managers for compliance to the investment policy statement, as well as performance against their relative benchmark.
